I was rifling through my camera bag looking for something the other day and came across Big Daddy. He'd been sitting in there for months, unused since my tawdry affair with Junior began. I had seriously contemplated selling him and getting another 5D, but when I picked him up and felt his weight in my hands, all of my feelings for him came rushing back. I decided to bring him to The Oldest's last home meet yesterday afternoon, and I'm so glad I did. Is it possible to love 2 cameras at the same time?? I think so.
So the race starts and the next thing I know The Oldest jumps out in front of the pack and I get this shot. Is he
seriously mugging for the camera
during his race?? This isn't the cover of Sports Illustrated you silly boy...it's just my blog.

And here's my other little clown. What a couple of goof balls!

If I didn't know who big daddy was and his temperment, I would be a little worried if I were The Husband!
ReplyDeleteOh wait, The Husband is worried about Thelma!
Thelma :)
In the pack, looks to the left and sees mom there with big daddy. Digs down deep and takes the lead. In the lead, has a nice stride, and takes a look to the left. Yep there's mom, too busy breathing, otherwise he'd give a big smile.
ReplyDeleteNice capture Lisa. How did he do?
I love that first shot of your son!
