A Birthday Luncheon
The Youngest's future wife (hey, us Mother's can dream, can't we?) turns 4 and is having her Birthday party on Saturday. Tragically, The Husband's Aunt passed away earlier in the week and the services were scheduled for that day as well. Since we won't be able to attend my future Daughter-In-Law's horse themed birthday festivities, Thelma and I got them together for a lunch date so we could give her, her present.
Let me tell you, that Strawberry Shortcake pony brought back so many childhood memories! Strawberry Shortcake and her posse were some of my favorite toys when I was a little girl, and I'm just tickled pink that Thelma has 2 girls that I can buy them for. Although The Oldest feels secure wearing a pink shirt and The Youngest loves the flowered curtains in the "morning room", I'm pretty sure I'd get some dirty looks if I gave them scented ponies for their birthdays.

I love strawberry shortcake. I'm jealous!!! LOL! I still have my strawberry shortcake dolls from when I was a kid.
What aunt died?
